Nachdem ich schon in einem früheren Post über die Badischen Landmänner und ihre Kochkünste berichtet habe, konnte ich Euch dieses Schmankerl, ihren Erkennungsdrink, einfach nicht vorenthalten. Dass das Dutzend wackerer ländlicher Männer, die übrigens mit Toleranz punkten – schließlich haben sie sich über die jahrhundertelangen ortsteilinternen Vorurteile hinweggesetzt und kommen aus allen Willstätter Windrichtungen – schon ein wenig schräg ist, blieb auch mir nicht verborgen.
Dass sie wie begnadete Teufelkerle backen können (zu sehen in der aktuellen Ausgabe "Meine gute Landküche" aus dem Burda Verlag, gibt's in jedem gut sotierten Zeitschriftenhandel) hab ich selbst mit eigenen Augen sehen und Mund testen können. Aber mit dem "Badischen Tequilla" schießen sie jetzt den Vogel ab. Selbst erfunden haben sie ihn, bekennt die wackere Trupp stolz: ihr Erkennungsgetränk, eine wundersame, beileibe nicht unbedingt jedem Hanauer mundende Kombination aus heimischer Schwarzwurst und Legeshurster »Roter Rossler«.
Und so trinkt man ihn: Zuerst scharfen Senf und Blutwurst zerkauen, dann den roten Rossler aus Legelshurst drüberlaufen lassen. Na denn, Prost!
